Solar Water Disinfector

Solar water disinfector is a solar powered device that can determine when solar water disinfection occurs in bottled water. WADI uses solar ultraviolet rays to naturally disinfect water.

Application of WADI:

  1. Fill bottles with water (Do not use turbid water, or water polluted with harmful chemicals.)
  2. Expose the bottles and WADI to the sun, and press its reset button
  3. Wait for some hours while the sun disinfects the water
  4. Watch till a happy smiley face appears on the WADI display
  5. Water is ready for consumption.
