Tour to vulnerable areas

The community people of different climate hotspots of Bangladesh are combating the impact of different climate extreme and slow onset events. The lives and livelihoods are interrupted regularly due to climate change. Contextually the problems and levels of vulnerability are different in different zones and communities. The adaptive solutions are different as usual. CCDB Climate Center provides services visiting different climate hotspots through the “Meeting Vulnerable Platform”. Meeting with community people can be an excellent opportunity to gain field experience and discover the questions about what types of climate risks are in place, how community people of different groups are reacting individually and jointly in terms of adaptation, and what the needs are there in reality. CCDB Climate Center offers for the interested individual or group researchers and practitioners through this platform which includes visiting the vulnerable areas, observing adaptation practices, meeting with community people or community-based organizations and conducting Focus Group discussions with different professional groups, and so on based on interest.
