Biomass briquette is a type of fuel prepared from household or agricultural waste materials. It can be produced by a low-cost hand-pressing machine which generates high pressure on waste materials like sawdust, rice husk, cow dung, rice starch, used paper.

Benefits to the user:

  • A way to recycle waste into fuel
  • More hygienic than traditional fuel
  • Saves the budget allocated for daily firewood
  • Can be an alternative livelihood as briquettes are sellable.
