Climate Mitigation

At the Climate Technology Park and Learning Center, we demonstrate around 40 Climate Change Mitigation technologies that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and low carbon development in the energy, agriculture, water, transport, climate resilient housing, disaster risk reduction (DRR), waste management, gender, cooking solution, healthcare, pest management, and interactive education sectors, amongst others.

At the Climate Technology Park, most of the technologies are being demonstrated at related climatic zones like coastal, dryland, hill, char land, and haor zone to showcase positive solutions to various climate change-induced problems and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They are meant not only for rural, poor, and climate-vulnerable communities, but also for other people all over the country and even beyond.

These technologies are proven and effective. Most of them have been tested by many rural communities in the country and abroad. We have chosen these technologies by recommendation from our advisory body members and expert practitioners. Many of technologies were sponsored by reputed organizations to introduce climate smart solutions to various stakeholders.
