Adaptation Technologies
In this tour, visitors will be able to explore five ecological zones. Visitors will get an overview of all the adaptive measures of climate change. The adaptation technologies which will be visited are a rain water harvesting system (RWHS), pond sand filter (PSF), floating vegetables garden, double layer mulching, mulching with mulch paper, pitcher irrigation system, drought tolerant grass, hydroponic grass, hydroponic agriculture, vertical agriculture, sack garden, hanging sack garden, raise tube well, agro-forestry, system of rice intensification (SRI), floating integrated agriculture, jhum cultivation, treadle pump, drip irrigation, agri-silvi-pastral. This tour is also an adventure for the visitors. The whole tour of the adaptation technologies in the park will take about one and half hours. Visitors can gather first-hand experience with adaptation technologies that are demonstrated in their ecological zones. In each of these zones, there are climate resilience houses and a visitor can explore the features of the respective housing system employed. After the visit, an eco-friendly cafeteria is ready for the visitors.
