Guided Tour to Climate Park

The Climate Park features a Learning Centre and Technology Demonstration, where visitors can take walkways or book guided tours through the five main ecosystem zones of Bangladesh. Visitors can experience the zones’ main ecological characteristics, the way they are impacted by climate change, and which adaptive and climate-friendly technologies can be taken to minimise climate-induced problems in rural communities. Around one hundred technologies, demonstrated in the Park’s eco-zones, provide solutions for the energy, agriculture, water, transport, climate resilient housing, disaster risk reduction (DRR), waste management, gender, cooking solution, healthcare, pest management, interactive education etc. A serene lake, picturesque picnic places, and other attractions will render a visit to the Park an unforgettable experience for families, school classes, and student groups.

The Learning Centre is a certified green building, with conference facilities, an exhibition area, video projection, a climate library, and an interactive learning space for children. Visitors can also use the cafeteria with a large terrace that overlooks the nearby forest and the lake. The full tour takes around 4 hours.
